Description: vintage My Child “Loving Baby” Doll. Hold Loving Baby by the waist, tilt her towards you and press her back gently. Loving Baby will turn her head gently to cuddle you close. Fabric plush body, vinyl head, blonde-rooted hair, blue eyes, painted facial features. Non removable blue onesie with lace trim, original clothing is missing. Legs are movable, arms are stationary. Dated 1985 on tag and 1986 on back of head.
NOTE: head movement on this doll operates different than the others (with pink torsos) that I have listed. When pressing the button on the back of doll, the head tilts or drops forward (like the others-but not slowly) and when turned on her back the head snaps or drops into upright position-instead of slowly moving into the upright position. It works, but not in the same way as the others, so not sure if it was made this way (because of different torso/onesie color being blue instead of pink-might be a different model?) or if the (slow movement of head mechanism is broken), when the head snaps back into upright position there is a clicking noise as it locks into position until release button (for head tilt) is pressed on the back. This is the only blue torso doll I have, so do not have another blue torso doll to compare it with.

Condition: good, used, played with, there is some staining on the blue torso area-to the front, the back, and bottom/seat area that looks like water stains-so might come clean with surface washing, hair is not missing plugs and has not been cut, one broken string on right arm-string not missing but has come loose, facial paint good-no paint loss.
