Our Story: This SUV has been absolutely great to own!
My wife and I have travelled all over the US in this car for the last 9years.
There has never been a mechanical (nothing, zero, zip!) issue up until June of 2021.
I heard a noise in the engine that had never been there, so I took it to the KIA dealer in Santa Rosa (all records of repairs are documented with KIA dealership work orders and can be shared with serious buyers). The engine was covered under the extended warranty and replaced.
The engine was fully replaced with a Brand-New KIA factory motor. All computer updates and mechanically done at the KIA dealership. All diagnostics were run, and the car runs great.
When the Sorento went in for the engine replacement, we were told that it would take at least 3to 6 months to get back.
At that time, we could not wait, so we decided we would purchase a new car for the wife and drove home.
Only one week later, the dealership had received, replaced and road tested our Sorento. Now we have one car too many!
